  4. Fine Arts Participation 100% elementary students participate in Music & Art. ● All students in middle and high school participate in a fine arts course. ● 81 % of middle school and 42% of high school students enroll in fine ● arts courses beyond the minimum requirement. 4

  5. 23,175 Middle and High School Students are Enrolled in Fine Arts Music Studies - 275 students Piano - 351 students Orchestra - 1672 students Choir - 2640 students Dance - 2972 students Band - 4234 students Theatre - 4504 students Visual Art - 6527 students 5

  6. 58% of RRISD Top Ten Graduates were enrolled in sequential Fine Arts Courses ● Cedar Ridge - 5 of the top 10 ● McNeil - 8 of the top 10 ● Round Rock - 5 of the top 10 ● Stony Point - 4 of the top 10 ● Westwood - 7 of the top 10 6

  7. RRISD Music Programs are Recognized at the State and National Levels 7

  8. 27 students were selected to participate in the the state-level Visual Art Scholastic Event. 8

  9. 44 students were selected to participate in all-state band, choir or orchestra. 9

  10. 42 student actors qualified at the national level in the International Thespian Society for Theatre . 10

  11. All high school dance programs received Division I ratings at Dance Educators Assessment of Learning. 11

  12. District Fine Arts Resources 12

  13. New auditoriums at Cedar Ridge and Stony Point will provide performance and gallery spaces, as well as instructional spaces for Technical Theatre. 13

  14. Technology in the Arts 35 Fine Arts Teachers have been recipients of Next Gen Classrooms. 14
