Three Parent Representatives Maria Godinez (term ends in 2022) ★ Has 7th grader at Cabrillo ○ ○ Is Treasurer of our PTO ○ Has overcome obstacles to be successful Kristin Ippilito (term ends in 2022) ★ 5 daughters in grades 3, 7, 10, 12, and university • Served on Pierpont’s SSC and seen children through K-12 in VUSD • Child advocate, believer in equity, wants school to be a positive experience for all • ★ Banks Pecht (term ends in 2021) Has 8th grader at Cabrillo • Served on Cabrillo’s SSC for the past three years (daughter is at VHS) • • Supports ALL students with special attention to the Arts Cabrillo’s School Site Council

SEDAC and AAPC Special Education District Advisory Council: A parent representative from each school advises the district on issues related to Special Education African-American Parent Council: Parent representative holds VUSD accountable: ● Nurturing students for academic success ● Promoting positive educational and social experiences for our children ● Building relations within the community to support our children ● Celebrating the strengths and unique experiences of Black students in VUSD.
