MAESTRO MAESTRO 2/2M - suitable for FR4/CEM3, - suitable for smaller numbers - less required space - excellent price-performance ratio - ergonomic working - length of board: 15-300mm, (<15mm not to handle) MAESTRO 3E - suitable for FR4/CEM3 - suitable for smaller and average numbers - excellent price-performance ratio - length of board: 1 mm up to 450 mm - separation possible even when components overhanging the groove (cut-outs in the linear blade) - tables are step less adjustable 6/23
MAESTRO MAESTRO 4S - suitable for FR4, CEM3 and aluminum - suitable for high volume - length of boards: up to 600 mm - separation possible even when components overhanging the groove (cut out in the linear blade) - cutting performance is displayed for the purpose of scheduling preventive maintenance - continuously adjustable separation length - very gentle separation because of automatic adjustment of the blade distance - 1-5 cuts can be stored on 9 programs 7/23
MAESTRO Conveyor belt MAESTRO 4S - time-saving and efficient by high volume - Speed and form feed free selectable - Small boards do not fall on top of each other 8/23
MAESTRO MAESTRO 5L - Suitable for FR4 and CEM3 - For very high volume up to a width of 310mm - time-saving - 2 x SMEMA Interface for integration into assembly lines - No mistake through an operator - Display to show cutting performance in mm or pieces - Connection for dust extractor (Clean Version incl. brushes…..) 9/23
MAESTRO MAESTRO 6/X03 - Suitable for FR4, CEM3 and aluminum (Alu blades/misalginment) - For longer boards up to 1500mm - Separation length continuously adjustable - Each blade can be adjusted separately - cutting performance is displayed for the purpose of scheduling preventive maintenance - Three cuts with one movement 10/23
MAESTRO MAESTRO 6/X01 - Suitable for FR4 and CEM3 - For longer boards up to 1500 mm (Standard 600 mm) - Separation length continuously adjustable - Cutting performance is displayed for the purpose of scheduling preventive maintenance - Components height max. 40 mm, respectively 70 mm (601/70) - Separation in both directions 11/23
Perfect V-groove 12/23
Stress reduced separation What can I do to reduce stress during separation? - Distance upper/lower blade should be max. that the board is just separated - Make more than one cut and reduce cut by cut the distance between upper and lower blade (MAESTRO 4S and 6/X03) - Ceramic components should be placed 3-5mm away from the v-groove - Milling out/drilling holes parallel to critical components - Replace blades. Worn out blades have a radius at the blade point which is not any longer 0,1mm, therefore it does not fit into the v-groove smooth = increased stress - See v-groove recommendation to work with less stress, because it fits to our blades 13/23
Wear and tear of blades Why do blades chip, how can I reduce the wear and tear? cor orrect - Upper/lower blade touch each other (often after changing a blade) Re-adjustment of the blade stop necessary - Board get jammed because blades run into a component and operator pulls out the board (with shock) adjust blade guard correct to avoid that you can separate outside the v-groove - Misalignment between upper/lower blade to big, stress arise MAESTRO 3E/4S/6 check with dial gauge, Maestro 2/2M “by h and” or straight edge - Milling at the v-groove wrong, lateral pressure in the blade - Big chip means cut into a component, small one means usually that the blades touch each other - Distance upper/lower blade should be max. that the board is just separated - Use of “Fake Blades”, quality poor 14/23
Separation system Circular blade Wedge separation + less wear and tear + less space needed + suitable for alu and FR4 + suitable for FR4 and alu (4S & 6.X03) + ergonomic/fatigue-proof working + less wear and tear - tension on ceramic components + separation possible even when - no separation when components overhanging components overhanging the groove the groove + excellent price-performance ratio - not suitable for higher volume + low tension on ceramic components - price-performance ratio - except tension Maestro 2/3E 15/23
PCB-Magazine 600/700 Series 600 Series 700 - cost-efficient - Precision spindles ensure the parallelism - Width adjustment by screw clamp - Gear belt allows very fast adjustment of the width - Up to 310mm width - Up to 510 mm width - Width is adjusted seldom - Width needs to be changed often 16/23
PCB-Magazine 800 Serie 800 - Precision spindles ensure the parallelism - Gear belt allows very fast adjustment of the width - Up to 510 mm width - Width needs to be changed often and fully automatically - Coupling to be connected with servomotor of the unloader - Left, back bottom means different sizes of magazines can be used on the unloader 17/23
