Workforce redesign Original recommendation: Allied Health ViTA staff existing classification and FTE remain > The proposed model indicates that the current RN3 classification will not be retained and be classified as a RN2 position, whereas Social Work will retain a 0.6 AHP3 position. Other positions will remain at an AHP 2 level. We feel that having mixed classifications between disciplines is not equitable and does not add value to the service. We suggest that all AHPs be classified at the same level and receive support from the Allied Health Clinical Coordinator as proposed. Amended recommendation: The classification of the Social Work positions within ViTA be classified as AHP2 in line with other disciplines.
