The Madressa Day Assembly (15 mins) • Very important that students arrive in time • We start with Quran Quran memorisation/appreciation (15 mins) Quran recitation (45 mins) Fikh (30 mins) Cross curricular (45 mins) • Calendar, Akhlaq and Tariq Namaz
Quran We are very fortunate at Zainabiya for the number of native Arabic speakers and teachers who have Arabic degrees teaching Quran.

Governance Madressa policies are being reviewed and updated Car safety • 20mph on the road leading to the mosque • Drive safety and responsibly in the car park • Drop and collect students on time Allergy information • Madressa is a nut free area • Please inform/update us on student allergies
DBS – we are working very hard to get all teachers DBS accredited Several teachers are Child Safeguarding accredited. We are encouraging more. • Safe guarding officers are Hasnain Datoo and Hamid Manji We aim to have one First Aider on site
Behaviour – Good Akhlaq Please remind students they cannot be on their phones during Madressa time There have been incidents of children being rude and very poorly behaved in class • We have a behaviour escalation policy, but need parents to remind the children
Late and Absent Anyone who arrives after 10am should sign the late book All children will be registered at the point of entry at 10am directly on to a computer Collect children on time • 1pm for infants (Reception, Yrs 1and2), 1:30pm for all the rest • Children can only be collected early with authorisation We are looking at number of absent days for each student • 3 absents/term and Madressa will contact the parents
Fees The fees are £80/child There are still a number of parents that haven’t paid There is a waiting list for places Madressa may have to reallocate the spaces to children on the waiting list
Parents Help Help would be gratefully accepted • Break time duty: 11:45 to 12:15 • Namaz time: 13:00 to 13:30
