THE BRAKENHALE SCHOOL High Expectations and Challenge for All How does selection work? • OCR will be releasing an end of year 10 exam paper (summer 2018) • Whilst we will be doing continual assessments on a module by module basis, the end of year exam will reflect student progression into year 11. • This will help us make an informed decision about whether triple can run from Sept 2018. • There will need to be a between 30 to 35 students who show academic capability to take this pathway.

Reinforces learning and allows you to apply your learning to a new situation. • Use of Show My Homework – Parents can also access + SMH app – notifications when homework is set and due • Students who consistently do not complete homework: 1. Detentions with subject teacher (1 st time) 2. Tutor conversation (2 or more) 3. Letters home – more than 3 occasions 4. Parent, HOY + aHOY, student meetings if no improvement
