  14. Keep in Mind... The iPad is the property of Noblesville Schools. The iPad and our network are intended for educational use only. All activity may be monitored, documented, and retained. Make positive choices and be responsible digital citizens!

  15. Student Profile - Student Restrictions ● On Thursday! ● Over weekend download apps. Students may install Item Rating apps, music and movies Movies PG as long as they meet the restrictions we have set on TV Shows PG the iPad. Apps 12+ ● App Store off 1st 9weeks Explicit Music Not Permitted ● ● Students can use the Explicit Books Not Permitted camera. Game Center Not Permitted ● The iPad has 16GB of space – if you run out of space, it will be reformatted and wiped clean. ● The Internet is filtered and monitored during school hours.

  16. iPad Care & HAndling Keep the iPad in the district-issued case, or use another approved case. Lists of other approved cases can be found on the school’s website. Wipe surfaces with a clean, dry soft cloth. iPads are temperature sensitive. They don’t like extreme heat or cold.

  17. Monitoring & Supervision Students are responsible for the safety and security of the iPad and any activity on the device. Don’t loan it to a friend, leave it lying around, etc. At home, your student is operating on your Wi-Fi Network. Filtering is up to you.

  20. Power Management Charge the iPad each night. This is part of being a responsible student. Students are responsible for their cable and charging brick. Please do not bring these to school.

  21. Lost, Stolen or Damaged iPads ● Should an iPad be damaged, lost, or stolen, the student or parent/guardian should immediately notify the school administration. ● At that time the parent/guardian may be advised to file a police report. ● ADD data of loss

  22. Lost, Stolen or Damaged - Cont. ● Any damage must be reported to school authorities immediately. At that time school authorities will determine if damage is accidental or due to irresponsible behavior. ● Deductibles: First accidental damage occurrence ($100.00) ● Second accidental damage occurrence: Cost to repair the iPad or fair market value, possible loss of iPad take-home privileges. ● Third accidental damage occurrence: Cost to repair the iPad or fair market value and loss of iPad take-home privileges
