  3. Welcome to Mrs. Clark’s Class Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!!!! This is a quick introduction to myself. I grew up in Greensboro, NC where I graduated from UNC-Greensboro in 2001, with my elementary education degree. One year prior to graduation, I moved to the Concord area, where I have been residing for the past 20 years. I spent the first 13 years of my teaching career in Kannapolis City Schools. During my time there I received my masters in elementary education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Reading K-12 certification. This is my sixth year here #ATA Gamechangers at AT Allen where I will be teaching ELA/Social Studies in 5th grade.

I am from Bennington, Vermont, and graduated from Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach. I spent one year in India after highschool volunteering in a school teaching english and found out I loved teaching and decided to make it my career after that. I love spending time outdoors and love to take camping trips on the weekends. I I will be teaching 5th grade Math and Science this year. I look forward to meeting all of my students and am looking forward to the upcoming school year! #ATA Gamechangers

  16. How to Access Canvas 1. Go to the AT Allen Website 2. Scroll down and click on the button for “Canvas” 3. Sign in using your student login (username: Chromebook login, password: student ID #) 4. Click on Clark 5th Block A 2020-2021 or the name of the Canvas course needed

  17. First Day Log-in 1. Go to Canvas and click on “Clark Block A 2020-2021” course 2. Click on “Attendance” button and answer the question 3. Click on “Microsoft Teams” button and meet with our class

  18. What if I want to opt out of live teaching? Please visit your child’s school website and complete the Synchronous Learning Opt-Out Form to let us know if you would like to opt your child out of lessons that the teacher is recording. If we do not receive an Opt-Out Form prior to August 20, 2020, we will assume that you agree to the above conditions and are providing your consent for your child to be recorded and for your child's participation in our Remote Learning Plan. Lessons will be recorded and posted beginning August 24, 2020.

  19. Scribbles All Cabarrus County schools beginning of the year forms have moved online for the 20-21 school year. Parents must create or use an existing account with Scribbles software to complete these forms. All forms should ebe completed by Friday, August 21st. Click the link here You may already have used this software if you completed a renewal application for students in 6th grade or 9th grade, Program Choice appllcation, student transfer, or registration.
