  13. CHAFFEY COLLEGE DUAL ENROLLMENT COURSES • CHINO HIGH SCHOOL OFFERS TWO CLASSES EACH SEMESTER • TWO DAYS A WEEK AFTER SCHOOL (E.G. M/W OR T/TH) • STUDENTS CAN EARN 5 ELECTIVE CREDITS FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND 3 UNITS FOR COLLEGE • PAST CLASSES INCLUDE CAREER EXPLORATION, CHICANO HISTORY, CRIMINAL JUSTICE, PUBLIC SPEAKING, AND MORE • ENROLLMENT TAKES PLACE IN JULY AND DECEMBER • STUDENTS MUST HAVE 2.0 GPA OR HIGHER TO ENROLL

GRADING • THE SCHOOL YEAR IS DIVIDED INTO TWO SEMESTERS • PROGRESS REPORTS ARE PROVIDED AT 6-WEEK & 12-WEEK MARKS, EACH SEMESTER. • STUDENTS RECEIVE FINAL GRADES AT THE END OF EACH SEMESTER. • GPA STARTS TO BE CALCULATED IN 9 TH GRADE • CUMULATIVE GPA IS CALCULATED AT THE END OF EACH SEMESTER. • GENERALLY, STUDENTS TAKE 6 CLASSES EACH YEAR • EACH CLASS IS WORTH 5 CREDITS PER SEMESTER, SO STUDENTS CAN EARN 30 CREDITS PER SEMESTER.
