Our Briefing Our Brief “How could creating an inclusive wayfinding system look, and how could it engage and ecourage participation amongst residents and visiors?” The challenge for this project is to create a wayfinding system for Gaer Community. The primary focus of this brief is to promote active ageing and independent living. The target audience is residents aged at 55 and over. IN CONTEXT Where would the maps be? The corrisponding map would be placed in each block enterance, in plain view. Other places could be on fridge doors of the residents, screensavers. The maps would be to act as a gentle reminder as to where they were, as well as how far they were away from the gardens for example. SARAH MOL YNEUX
Wayfinding around the gaer This is an inclusive wayfinding system for visitors and residents who use the gaer community. This mapping system gives a simple solution to difgiculties that some of these people experiance when leaving their properites. It breaks the journey down giving a quick explanation and what of difgiculties it could be.

WAYFINDING APP Events page In order to help residents interact with the rest of the Gaer I have incorporated a system where they can see all activities going on around the Gaer and primarily helps them find their way to these activities. EMIL Y LAWRIE
WAYFINDING APP Communities page To try and combact loniness I have given residents the option to see where other residents are and share their location and to easily be able to contact and meet up with other resisdents. EMIL Y LAWRIE
