What we’re going to cover Activities concerning waste you may come across: • On agricultural land • On non-agricultural land • With permits OR • Exempt from the need to have a permit
Environmental Permitting Regulations Cover all permissions for dealing with waste – permits and exemptions Also covers larger industrial processes such as chemical production, food processing, textiles etc
Exemptions Exempt operations are grouped into the types of activity. Use of waste. These exemptions are identified by a “U”; Treatment of waste. These exemptions are identified by a “T”; Disposal of waste. These exemptions are identified by a “D”; Storage of waste. These exemptions are identified by a “S”. Non Registerable exemptions or NWFD exemptions
