  5. Getting Started: 1. Identify an agency/experience 2. Make contact to arrange Volunteer Service hours 3. Complete Parent Waiver Form 4. Complete Log Sheet 5. Complete “Personal Reflection” Sheet 6. Turn in Parent Waiver Form, Personal Reflection, and Log Sheet to Mrs. Piper 7. Place copies of the above documents into your e-portfolio (optional)

  6. Parent Waiver Form: ● Parent consent for students to work with agencies who have not partnered with the Palisades School District Parental Waiver is linked ● to the VSE website under “Forms”

  7. Log Sheet: ● Allows students to Front - student keep track of service responsibilities hours throughout high school ● Students should include a copy of log sheet in their portfolios ● Log Sheet is linked to the VSE website under “Forms” Back - students log hours

  8. Reflection Reflection ● Students reflect on volunteer experience ○ Reflections are submitted to facilitator ● Provides insightful information regarding experiences for our students ● Link to reflection (Google Form) is located on the VSE website under “Forms”

  9. VSE on PowerSchool & Canvas ● Students can now view their volunteer hours on PowerSchool ○ Number of Hours ● Portfolio Mentors can access grades online through PowerSchool
