  2. Our Origins Our Co-Founders Our first home 1986 Mid- 1990’s Education is the fast track out of poverty for individuals, families and communities.

An Cosán in West Tallaght since mid 1990’s ❖ Education is the fast track out of poverty for individuals, families and communities. ❖ Over 16,000 students have accessed our courses and accessed further education or employment. ❖ Over 300 students have successfully accessed our higher education courses.

  4. An Cosán Virtual Community College (VCC) 2014 An Cosán Virtual Community College offers basic, professional and higher education courses to adults across Ireland through virtual blended learning, supported by the unique culture of personalised ‘scaffolding’ or supports for each learner.

Achievements to Date ➢ VCC Pilot 2014-2016 ➢ VCC Officially launched October 2016 ➢ Delivered 36 programmes ranging from unaccredited to higher education QQI Level 6 & 7 programmes ➢ Over 700 learner places enrolled ➢ Engaged over 60 community organisations in 22 counties across Ireland * Counties shaded in purple indicates where we have engaged with a local community partner
