3/9/2020 Procedures There will be three interviewers: One of your interviewers will begin the introduction of the members and will keep track of time as you have only 50 minutes to answer the questions thoroughly from the PRPI. 7 Expectations of a Professional Interview: Create a free account on Zoom.us. • In order to be an active participant in this process, if you do not currently have a Zoom account, you will need to set up an account using an email address and individual password on Zoom.us. The account is free. You will need to login for the interview using the information you created. Dress appropriately for the interview. • Do not assume that interviewers can only see what you wear above the waist. It may be tempting to wear loungewear but remember this is a professional interview. Eye contact is important. • Although you may want to read your answers to the PRPI from the screen, it would not be recommended because it will make things appear rehearsed and unnatural. Best to put your authentic self forward. You may use notes and refer to them; however, we advise to not read answers directly from the screen. 8 Professional Interview Location Expectations • Select a location where you will not be interrupted. • Check Wi-fi signal, it should be at the strongest level. • Check background so that it is free from distracting images or objects. • Make sure that the lighting is good, there is no glare on the screen and that you are centered in the screen. 9 3
