Phase 1: Trends and developments • Several changes in society which can be described as trends and developments • Current and future trends can have an influence on the cultural heritage domain • In this first brainstorm, the STEEP framework is used to identify the most relevant future trends for each STEEP theme

Phase 1: Brainstorm trends and developments • Warm Up • Divide in smaller groups • Individual: brainwrite (5 min) • Group: share and react on the brainwrites • Group: cluster the brainwrites/trends • Group: map trendclusters on certainty and timeframe • Select relevant clusters for phase two • Share and discuss outcomes with the other groups

Phase 2: Impact • The culmination of seperate effects on cultural heritage resulting from the trends and developments • These effects can be both positive or negative and large or small • As both the culmination of effects and the desirability of individual effects are relevant, both will be discussed in this part

Phase 2: Brainstorm Impact • Individual: brainwrite (5 min) • Group: share and react on the brainwrites • Group: cluster the brainwrites/impacts • Group: map trends on pos/neg impact and large/small impact • Group: assess the desirability of both the indivdual effects of a trend and the culminated trends • Share and discuss outcomes with the other groups
