Tutbury Allotment Association Tutbury Allotment Association represents the 3 allotment sites in Tutbury which comprises of: - Bridge Street. Bridge Street has 8 plots and is situated just off Bridge Street by the ‘ little bridge ’ Castle Street. Castle Street is the largest site with 42 plots some of which are subdivided into half plots and is situated opposite the approach to the castle. 1 www.tutbury.org/allotments
Close Bank . Close Bank has 11 plots some of which are subdivided into half plots. And is accessed via the footpath that runs between Burton Street and Cornmill Lane. The Association has 3 elected officials, Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary and each site has an elected representative. The Current Annual rent for a full plot is £16 and £8 for a half plot {subject to Annual review} Castle Street is also subject to an additional charge of £5 for water. Only Castle Street has a metered water supply available on site. Restrictions apply with regards the size of Structures. Greenhouses are limited to 8ft X 6ft and Sheds to 6ft X 4ft in certain circumstances larger Polytunnels may be allowed. Vacant Plots As of June 2016 there are Bridge Street: - There are no plots vacant on the Bridge Street site at present Castle Street: - There are no plots Vacant on the Castle Street plot at present and a small waiting list exists Close Bank: - There are 2 full plots and 1 half plot vacant at the Close Bank Site.
