Housing Code Enforcement Violations 95 Housing code inspections conducted in District 1 since January 2019 These include properties reported to be in violation of the City’s Property Maintenance Code and include violations such as deteriorated roof systems, damaged windows or doors, chipped exterior paint, damaged or deteriorated facades, and inadequate utility service.

Sidewalk Projects $75,631 and 1,890 feet this fiscal year • 19th Avenue NW from 11th Place to approx. 300ft past Americana Drive ( ± 750ft) • Navajo Trail from Rainbow NE to Cheyenne Blvd • Cheyenne Blvd from Navajo Trail to the curve ( ± 1139ft) $39,906 and 996.66 feet next fiscal year • Westchester Drive from Fox Glen to Fox Glen • Fox Glen from Westchester Drive to Carleton Drive (996.66ft).
Traffic Calming • Created Traffic Calming Committee to investigate and consider solutions • Purchased radar speed detection signs for “hot spot” locations including Five Mile Road • Piloted blinking stop signs at multiple intersections • Piloted strobing pedestrian crossing signs at Venice Road for a trail crossing location
Traffic Calming • Installed initial pilot speed hump on Carlisle Road • Installed new stop signs at multiple intersections • Police purchased 50 new radar guns • Police formed new traffic enforcement team • Will install two new pilot speed humps on Winewood Road

Public Facilities District 1 Neighborhood: Sun Valley Fire Station #28: Kitchen upgrades (hood replacement and fire suppression system for new gas range) Project Complete
