  2. Who are IIOM? The International Institute of Obsolescence Management (IIOM) is a professional body for those involved in, or interested in, Obsolescence Management. The Institute is aimed at professionals worldwide who are dedicated to furthering their knowledge and understanding of the Obsolescence Management discipline and who wish to network with a likeminded group of people and companies from a global membership

IIOM International Chapters • IIOM currently has four active Chapters, one in the UK, one in Germany, one in the USA, and one in India • Any individual or company from any country can join IIOM • When there is a “critical mass” in a particular country – negotiations to set up a Chapter will begin and proactive support is offered • IIOM are currently holding initial discussions in several other countries/territories including Italy, Benelux, Australia, South Korea & France

IIOM Membership Membership has grown to over 250 member companies and individuals worldwide including : • Component manufacturers and distributors • After market suppliers • Obsolescence management tool providers • Government and industry organisations • OEMs from military, aerospace, telecoms, nuclear power, medical, railways,& oil exploration • Consultancy and Project Management companies Membership in more than seventeen countries 4 Chapters, more than 250 companies, and more than 700 individuals as a community

  9. IIOM Evolution  IIOM has evolved from the Component Obsolescence Group (COG)  COG had its first open meeting in 1997  COG had legal entities in UK and Germany but engaged with people globally.  Over 250 corporate and individual members worldwide  IIOM became a legal entity early 2015
