360Karma was founded by documentary filmmaker Catherine Gray to provide pracTcal business knowledge, resources, connecTons and strategies to help fast track women’s entrepreneurial, crea5ve or social good endeavors, especially for those ambi5ous women who haven’t had the advantage of formal business educa5on. The City of West Hollywood and 360Karma present the second annual Live Love Thrive Women’s Conference November 3-4, 2017. A two-day Women’s Conference to educate and mentor, drive connec5ons, offer specific strategies and learnings, and to celebrate women whose achievements will enlighten and inspire the next group of women powerhouses. Access to capital remains a huge hurdle for launching and running a business or major project, so the conference includes: SHE Tank – where upcoming, emerging and exis5ng female founders pitch a panel of female investors for seed money and mentorship, in front of a live audience that gains knowledge as they watch a real financial nego5a5on in ac5on. Financial Gurus Panel – financial experts in numerous different arenas field wide-ranging financial ques5ons and educa5ng the audience on funding and managing for financial success in business and life. The event also includes music performances, renowned leaders-in-their- industries speakers, awards presenta5ons, film spotlights, a hosted Power Lunch and ALer Party. It will be filmed by UBN for broadcast, and SHE Tank will lead to a year-long online documentary series following the winners.
