  3. Our Products • All our products are based on one active ingredient: Hypochlorous acid. It is produced using water, salt and electricity and is sometimes referred to as “electrochemically activated water” • Hypochlorous acid is produced by the mammalian body to destroy invading pathogens • It is safe for mammals but is very effective at destroying bacteria, viruses, moulds, yeasts and fungi. However it is very unstable with a shelf life of <48 hours. We are the first and only company to develop a stable hypochlorous acid product and offer reliable pre-packaged goods • Its exemplary safety and efficacy profile means it is potentially useful across a wide range of applications

Better, Faster, Safer The main disinfection actives utilised are quaternary ammonium, phenolics, alcohols, oxidative compounds, aldehydes and iodophors Exposure effects of these products include: Tissue damage / irritation / sensitisation Toxicity Carcinogenic Although effective they may also be corrosive, caustic, unstable and have slow degradation rates In the past there has been a trade off between efficacy and deleterious effects to human and animal health and the environment

Efficacy (Lab) • Hypochlorous acid is effective against a very broad range of pathogens including C. diff , MRSA and noroviruses • Salvesan has passed numerous BS/EN tests including: – BS/EN 1276, BS/EN 13704, BS/EN 1656, BS/EN13697, BS/EN 14704 – It is effective against C. diff spores (modified version of BS/EN13704) • Salvesan has a very rapid kill time

  9. Solosan Pool Control • Historically, swimming pool water has always been treated with chlorine because it is an effective disinfectant and is highly oxidising. Chlorine is also the chemical of choice for public pools. Clear and hygienically safe water is guaranteed. • The Solosan Pool Control system reliably keeps the operating parameters in an optimum range and unpleasant side-effects, such as the smell of chlorine to a minimum. • Based on the in-situ electrolysis of salt the technology delivers the hypochlorous acid you require without having to handle toxic and environmentally damaging concentrated hypochlorite

Solosan Pool control • Solosan Pool Control uses highly specific chlorine sensors to measure the chlorine content in the pool allowing the concentration of chlorine in the water to be determined and set with accuracy. • Numerous features to enhance operating convenience, such as measured values being mapped by a screen plotter or remote control from your PC, iPad or other tablet device using an integrated web server, make the pool control system very popular with operators. • Solosan Pool Control can also measure the combined chlorine. This is an important parameter in public pools. It can be incorporated in the building management system via OPC and KNX and alarm messages can be sent by text or e-mail. • The integrated soft PLC control can be used to operate several peripheral devices and functions. The swimming pool controller becomes the central control unit for all the swimming pool technology.
