ADVISING CENTER ADVISING CENTER The Advising Center is home to your student's Professional Academic Advisor. How can we help? Advising and schedule finalization through summer Getting adjusted to campus Registering for courses/Planning for future courses Academic Appeals Extra support for exploratory and probation students Referrals as needed Services offered on an appointment or "walk-in" basis
SUBJECT TUTORING & LEARNING STRATEGIES TUTORING & LEARNING STRATEGIES Subject tutoring and learning strategies are offered by both peer tutors and professional learning specialists. How can we help? 50+ courses/services offered Specialized services include time management and note-taking 1-on-1 and small group sessions available, depending on subject All tutors trained and accredited by CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) Appointments are required, but can be easily scheduled online
WRITING CENTER WRITING CENTER The Writing Center supports the development of student writers in a collaborative environment. How can we help? Gather feedback on your writing - from topic selection to making sure your paper "flows" 1-on-1, individualized sessions All tutors receive intensive training and can assist at all stages of the writing process Appointments are encouraged, "walk-in" appointments available
MATH ACHIEVEMENT CENTER MATH ACHIEVEMENT CENTER The Math Achievement Center (better known as the MAC) provides tutoring specifically for mathematics courses. How can we help? Some math courses require MAC hours; we're here to help! Math assistance offered by department faculty and CRLA trained tutors 1-on-1 and small group sessions Services are offered on a "walk-in" basis; no appointment needed
