First, Last Name Claiming Identity Process Outline: 1. Email received from 0000000000 identityadmin@email.chop.edu with 000000 identity claiming instructions 2. Access the identity claiming portal 3. Self-identify using (CHOPKey, Email Address, Birth Date and Last Name) 4. Read and accept CHOP’s Statement of Responsibility and Confidentiality User Sign-On Agreement 5. Set your initial password and password reset challenge questions 6. Receive your CHOPKey

MyCareer@CHOP Completing required modules
myCareer@CHOP – OTP To login to mycareer@CHOP remotely, students will use a one-time password (OTP). 1. Student enters CHOP username and password into http://mycareer.chop.edu 2. Student is prompted to enter location for OTP to be sent 3. Student receives email with OTP 4. Student is now able to login and will not use OTP again For issues with OTP or login, Contact the HELP Desk at 215 215-590 590- 4357 and wait for myCareer prompt.
Login Issues o The main issues stem from the one- time password. Please stress to students that this is only needed for their initial login. o Timeout period: the network times out after 10 minutes. If student does not login within this time they will be locked out and need another OTP. o Reference the “Help & Tutorials” section for help

Required Training Modules o 2 Patient Identifier o Epic: HIM Quick Disclosure o Curricula: Epic: View Only – Inpatient/Ambulatory - (This module includes 4 parts that must ALL be completed) o Orientation and Mandatory Education Handbook Attestation o Safety Behaviors for Error Prevention
Checking Students Transcript You can check if a student completed modules by looking at their “History” 1. Have the student login to their myCareer@CHOP account 2. Go to the student’s “Learning” page 3. Select “View All” within the “History” tile (located below “My Learning Assignments”
Summary The onboarding process can be confusing and complex, and we are here to assist you. During the claiming process please sure we have the correct email on file. Many times because of a typo in the email address, the student does not receive the initial email. Please forward the directions to the students when we start onboarding them into our systems(21 days prior to start date) Verify their learning transcripts for completion of learning modules Make sure your students complete all modules assigned to them at least 5 days prior to their onsite date 5 days after completion of the EPIC modules is when the students will be granted access. Remember that students can only access there learning modules is mycareer@chop 24 hours after they claim there identity.
