Gateway – Who are we? • Strategic Plan completed in 2017: • Vision Statement of being a Gateway of people of action helping the community and the world. • Goals included increasing awareness, club growth, being more inclusive, and increasing fundraising efforts. • Full SWOT analysis of the club

Gateway – Details • We participate in several smaller service projects each year. • BBB event netted $40K last year giving proceeds to numerous non-profits. • This year’s board approved budget has revenues of $99K with the BBB accounting for 2/3 of that. • Club membership has increased by 40% net over last 5 years, now approx. 120 and growing. • We participate in Roteract and Interact • We participate as PIE partner with Pleasant Glades Elementary School

  20. Goal 2: Increase Community Awareness • Select and increase funding toward a meaningful Gateway Rotary Legacy project. • Increase revenues, with special focus on the BBB fundraising event. • Prioritize Rotary Foundation fundraising.

  21. Goal 3: Brand Rotary Regionally • Increase public relations efforts to emphasize the great things Rotary and Gateway are doing. • Partner with regional clubs to increase impact of service activities and outreach. • Encourage ‘Rotary’ branding in our community that aligns with Gateway goals.

  22. Gateway Culture • FUN! • We encourage participation and attendance because we want to see you, but it is not mandatory. • An HOUR meeting… we value your time. • Open and Welcoming: We are always looking for others who value the Four-Way test • We have one major fundraiser, BBB.

Gateway – Programs • Amanda Vey schedules key note speakers to generate an informative learning culture at our club. • Doug Mah will once again host the political forums for those running for office in September and October. • We are hoping to increase our business panels this year. • We will continue with Live-Streaming. • We look forward to suggestions for speakers.

Brats Brews and Bands BBB or 3Bs • September 7, 2019 • Organized by President Elect Janine Ezzell. • All Hands on Deck! • Dependent on Sponsorship Dollars. • Great board of folks focused on our primary stream of revenue. • Key is marketing, marketing, marketing… • Includes Dzines working as a paid event planner working for the President Elect. • Get involved! YOUR help is needed.

More About You! • We intend to continue to learn more about each club individual through classification talks. • We hope to learn more about folks through the mentorship program. • We want to learn more about your business through the ‘Think Rotary’ parts of the program and encourage folks to give ‘shout outs’. • We hope to hear from more people during our special moments part of the program.
