What is resource efficiency? > ‘Energy efficiency’ or ‘Materials efficiency’ > Materials efficiency means: > More efficient use of materials, or > The delivery of more finished product or service per unit of materials input
What does the program offer? Open to small and medium sized businesses > Small businesses* (less than 20 employees) > Medium sized businesses (20 – 200 employees) 1. Building Business Capability 2. Resource Assessment Funding 3. Capital Funding

Resource Assessments > Resource Assessment ($15,000) > Understand where your business can save on energy costs and material costs > Resource Assessment Pro ($15,000) > Further investigate resource efficiency opportunities > Implementation Bonus ($3,000) > Bonus awarded when one or more recommendations are implemented

Capital Funding – eligibility and merit > Project eligibility criteria includes: > Be a resource efficiency project > Be able to clearly articulate the energy or materials efficiency benefits > Be able to demonstrate a payback of 1 year or longer, and preferably within 5 years > Merit assessment > Project description (55%) > Project plan (20%) > Project budget (25%)
