Roundabout and Construction Phasing In short, Watt Consulting Group states on the construction phasing: • The road contractor will be required to ensure that access along the Beacon/McDonald corridor is maintained at all times. • There is sufficient land to create a temporary road which allows for the construction of the roundabout. • While the roundabout and the Stirling extension are being built the existing Sterling / Beacon Corridor should be maintained. • During construction, public notification should be a priority to ensure that driving public is notified of any changes. • As well, all modes of transportation need to considered in the traffic management plan including transit, pedestrian and cyclists.
