SH 16 (Bandera Road) Task Force Task Force Vision The Bandera Corridor Task Force works collaboratively across government agencies and with public and private partners to transform Bandera Road into a destination-corridor that moves people safely, efficiently; accommodates multimodal TASK FORCE MEMBERS transportation including pedestrians,  Councilwoman Ana Sandoval, City of San Antonio Council cyclists, automobiles and high- District 7 occupancy vehicles; enriches the  Mayor Chris Riley, City of Leon Valley surrounding community with attractive  Representative Jose Menendez, Texas House of amenities and businesses; and ties the Representatives District 26 adjacent communities together,  Representative Ray Lopez, Texas House of creating a sense of place for residents, Representatives District 125 employees and commuters along the  Texas Department of Transportation corridor.  Staff from both the cities of Leon Valley and San Antonio  Northside ISD  Bike Texas  VIA Metropolitan Transit 11

Planning Team Planning Team The Planning Team was created at the direction of the Task Force to provide local stakeholder involvement in the process and to be a sounding board for the project team prior to taking information out to the public. Two planning team meetings have been held to date.   13. Technical Work Group Technical Work Group The Technical Work Group consists of technical staff with expertise in various elements of corridor planning. Their primary focus is to oversee the technical analysis for the study and to provide guidance and input as the corridor is evaluated.
