How do you earn credits? • Meet attendance requirements. • Complete and Pass Classes (70+). • Each semester, you typically earn .5 credits for each class. Just a reminder about… Attendance The state says YOU must be in class 90% of the time each semester. • Credit will be denied. • One of the biggest predictors of passing a class is attendance • VOE…come to school if you want one 5
Grade Point Average (GPA) and Rank GPA – Average of grade points earned for total classes completed. Class Rank – Your numerical placement in relation to other students in your class based on your cumulative GPA. 6
Grade Point Average (GPA) and Rank GPA and RANK will be updated: • In the summer • Shortly after school starts. • At the end of Semester 1. • Shortly after the start of Semester 2 (Early grads added here). • At the end of the 5 th 6 weeks. • After graduation (GPA only). 7
