  8. What will we learn in Kindergarten?

  9. Kindergarten Reading Curriculum Information We are implementing the Benchmark Advance Reading Curriculum. There are 10 different units for the year. Each unit includes reading decoding and comprehension strategies, writing, vocabulary, phonics, and language skills. There are multi-genre (fiction, non-fiction, poems) read-alouds and leveled texts. Students are able to access leveled readers on the Benchmark Universe website at school and at home!

  13. Kindergarten Social Studies Curriculum Social Studies is integrated in our Benchmark Reading Curriculum. We will learn about rules at home and school, history and culture: holidays and celebrations, and economics: meeting needs and wants. Many Science topics are also integrated into our Benchmark Reading Curriculum.
