  4. Fiscal Year 2021 Vice Chair Nominations • Nominations for Vice Chair of the Regional Stormwater Management Coordinating Council are now being accepted. Please consider the following before making a nomination: • the Committee Procedures require that the Vice Chair alternate between a Phase 1 and a Phase 2 city. Nominees must be from a Phase 1 city. • Vice Chair is a 3-year commitment (Vice Chair, Chair, Past Chair) on the executive team. • The Committee Procedures do not limit the number of terms a person or entity may serve, so if you have served previously, you may do so again. • You may self-nominate! • Please send your nominations to staff. Staff will send all eligible nominations to the Executive Board for their review. • Voting for the Vice Chair will be done electronically. Staff will announce when voting has started, and the results.

Training Opportunities/Programs Post Construction Inspection Roundtable • Inaugural meeting July 22, 2020 via Webex • Staff suggested 3 meetings a year, staggered as to not conflict with RSWMCC and iSWM meetings • Next meeting tentatively suggested for late October, hosted on MS Teams TMDL Updates • First meeting not yet scheduled. • Staff will send out an email announcement once a date and time have been reserved.

FY2020 Work Program Task Force Projects PUBLIC EDUCATION TASK FORCE FY20 Project: Reducing Plastic Waste and Litter in Water Bodies • Monthly educational messaging toolkits for members use Feb. - Sept. • August: Bottles • September: Cans • Region-wide clean-up challenge has been postponed until spring 2021 • Formally named and branded • Created landing page for information, assets such as graphics, and digital collection form for cleanup data Regional Cleanup Challenge Reveal! . . .

FY2020 Work Program Task Force Projects PUBLIC EDUCATION TASK FORCE North Texas Community Cleanup Challenge! • Landing page, www.CommunityCleanupChallenge.com, is live but still under development • COG created advertising/social media support is under development • Social media posts will be shared on E&D accounts • #NTXCommunityCleanup • Shareable/printable “pledge” coming soon • Digital data collection form undergoing suggested tweaks • Separate form for organized events and general public/individuals • Paper form download will be available

FY2020 Work Program Task Force Projects POLLUTION PREVENTION (P2) TASK FORCE Training Videos Update: Production on all Preventing Stormwater Pollution - Municipal Training Series • videos have been finalized and posted to the Training Portal! The new training series will also be posted to the NCTCOG store and E&D • Publications page as a digital download If any member still needs a physical DVD, please contact NCTCOG staff • Online Training Portal: These six updated videos join the training videos on Sanitary Sewer Overflows, • Potable Water Discharges, and Spotting and Reporting Stormwater Pollution in the training portal Since going live in November 2019, there have been 1,014 users of the • Preventing Stormwater Pollution - Municipal Training Series and 395 for the other training videos for a combined total of 1,409 users trained through the online training system Free access to the Training Portal is given to Stormwater Program participants • THANK YOU to all our members who allowed us to film at your site and contributed to the development of the updated scripts!

  17. FY2020 Work Program Task Force Projects STORMWATER MONITORING PROGRAM Monitoring is in the second year of the • program term. FY 21 Monitoring program LOA’s have • been sent out to all participants. Best Management Practices Analysis • and Evaluation Plan (BANEP) update. We have not received comments • from TCEQ, but we are actively trying to determine the status of the comments. The Program is pushing forward • with edits to the BANEP that reflect how the Participants anticipate using the data. The updated BANEP will be • resubmitted to the TCEQ for their review.
