  3. Visual aids is important Although visual aids contributed only 10% to the presentation, audience remember more when we use well-designed slides.

  4. The 5 tips … 1. Maintain proper context 2. Keep your slide simple 3. Create logical flow 4. Choose appropriate format 5. Use standard design

  5. Express your ideas Focus on expressing your idea not on impressing your audience with your slides. Spend more time on selecting and projecting right ideas on the slides not excessive art works. Remember, juries could only give points when they understand your idea.

  6. Land of good values Melting pot of delicate culture, preserved heritage and advanced technology.

  7. No busy slides please If you cannot describe your idea in a simple way, perhaps you do not understand it. One point, one slide is the best. Avoid wordy slide. Use bullet with condense sentence. Use simple word and minimize jargon.

  8. Balance the contents Must know – the more the better but keep the objectives intact to guide you with the right information. Good to know – sufficient enough to enforce the main points. Too much of this will make the slides messy. Nice to know – keep it to minimal. Not necessarily to be included in the slides because it can be verbalized.

  12. Structure your ideas Good slides should have clear opening, punchy middle and brief ending. Opening: Give a roadmap. Tell your audience what you are going to tell them. Middle: Create main point to express key idea. Ending: Summarize main points and place those ideas in the context of big picture.

  17. Font are important Use sans serif font. Serif font difficult to read . Use readable font size . Use color combination.

  18. The abuses of capital letter Bullet points typically have one capital letter at the beginning. Just because You think a word is Important does Not mean it should be Capitalized. ALL CAPITAL LETTERS MAKE IT HARDER FOR YOUR AUDIENCE TO DECIPHER WORDS

  19. Standardize slide design Begin your slide design with available templates. Make changes to font setting, layout and color scheme to suit your needs. Once finalize, stick to it. It shorten preparation time and looks professional too.
