Personal presentation Our expectations
Uniform & Personal Presentation The vast majority of the students already wear the correct uniform and present themselves smartly everyday. It is important however that uniform is worn correctly and that we present ourselves in a way that helps prepare us for an adult working life. We want to have positive interactions with students and therefore all students need to comply with the uniform and presentation expectations rather than use it as a means of creating negative conversations or potentially difficult situations of discipline.
A personal and professional presentation The following guidance has been produced to highlight ● to students what IS and what IS NOT acceptable at CVC. Some guidelines have been relaxed for our older ● students. This is because we believe that some cosmetics will eventually contribute to our professional presentation and it is important to learn how to use them appropriately.

Outdoor Coats Outdoor jackets are an important addition to the daily school uniform. A jacket should be formal and appropriate for use at school. When not needed outdoor jackets should be stored in a bag or locker. Outdoor jackets are not part of our uniform during the school day however, occasionally, due to the weather, they might be needed when moving around the schools grounds. Jersey tops, hoodies, cardigans and sportswear in general are not appropriate.
