Our Coffee ANZEAS, the copany in charge of producing the organic coffee, collect and proceed the seeds from the mountains of the municipality of Anserma in the department of Caldas (Colombia). The cultivation in this area, as in the rest of Colombia, corresponds to the botanical species (Coffea arabica) belonging to the Rubiaceae family. This type of coffee is known for its softness, aroma and in general for its excellent organoleptic and grain quality qualities. To these elements of Colombian coffee, ecological production is added, which is why the crop is grown under conditions favorable to the environment, conserving biodiversity and taking care of the human component. www.oimbh.com
The Production Anserma produces in organic conditions about 80,000 kilos of parchment dried coffee per year in an area of 60 hectares of crops. this process takes in Anserma about 10 years (Certificates since September 2004), currently involves 34 coffee families that find in the cultivation of coffee their alternative of work and contribution to society. www.oimbh.com
