WHY A BOUNDARY REVIEW? Page 2
• Declining enrolment at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School (HLYT) and St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School (LYLA) • North Oakville (North of Dundas) development has started to yield students • St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School (AQUI) cannot reasonably accommodate any portable classrooms on site, and is at its built capacity • AQUI’s growing IB program will further accelerate growth pressures • Potential to re-distribute high enrolment growth across Oakville Secondary Schools, and reduce underutilized classroom space Why A Boundary Review?
