The service agreement with them was last renewed in May of 2017 and is expiring as of May 30, 2020. To ensure that the District secures the best value of insurance brokerage services, the request for proposal (RFP) for benefit consultant/broker services was issued on March 2, 2020 with the deadline for proposals to be received on April 2, 2020. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS: Proposals were received from six firms: Alliant, Connor & Gallagher One Source, Gallagher Benefit Services, GCG, Horton, and NFP. The Chief Financial Officer, Director of Purchasing and Transportation, and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources reviewed each proposal for accuracy in required submission information, conformity to the scope of work requested and overall responsiveness to the RFP. Oak Park and River Forest High School District 200 201 North Scoville Avenue · Oak Park, IL 60302-2296 After evaluating each firm’s qualifications, client structure and philosophy, the scope of services and resources offered, and the total cost of services offered, the proposals from three companies were selected to be presented to the District insurance committee to get their feedback. Based on committee presentations and additional extensive review of materials, reports, web-pages and on-line services, GCG was determined to offer the highest value relative to the cost of services. The presentation of the summary of the scope of services offered by GCG is attached. NEXT STEP: For the Committee of the Whole to review the results of the RFP for insurance broker services and move the administration ’ s recommendation forward to approve the service agreement with GCG at the Special Board Meeting later this evening on May 19, 2020.
