Project Facts: • Force Main was placed in service on April 8, 2020, sending wastewater From PS #1 to Coronado • It has been in continuous use since • Teichert Energy and Utilities has demobilized but continues to work on remaining punch list items including: • Odor Control Enclosure (painting and gate) • Landscaping Restoration at Entry Gate • Plug Valves at Clean-outs at PS #1 • Stainless Steel Cabinet at the Coronado Cays Pump Station
Other Key Project Components: • Odor Control Equipment and Supplies • An IGSA between Navy and City is on the City Council Agenda for the July 21, 2020, meeting • Evoqua is the City’s current odor control vendor to supply odor control equipment and chemicals to the Navy at key locations under the agreement • Wastewater rates have been agreed to and a contract modification is being routed for signatures • Rates based on amount of flow, Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).
