A&T - ECONOMIC I IC IMPACT CT The university’s economic impact was first measured in 2012-13 through a UNC System study  The UNC study estimated a statewide impact of $970M and a Piedmont- Triad impact of $656M, the equivalent of creating 15,909 jobs around N.C.  Today, that statewide impact is estimated at well over $1B, as A&T’s budgets, spending and impact increase both locally and around the state ncat.edu 12

A&T - COLLAB ABORA RATIONS NS  Gateway ay Resear arch Pa Park is a collaboration with UNCG and other partners that offers collaborative research opportunities with world-class researchers. The park houses the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering and Core Technology Molding Corporation among other businesses.  The Unio ion Squar are Cam ampus, a collaboration with UNCG and partners in higher education, health care, local government to meet the region’s health care workforce needs Union Square.  Our partnership with Gui uilford Count unty Schools includes two high schools: on the A&T campus STEM Early College at N.C. A&T and the Middle College at N.C. A&T.  The Cent nter for Ex Excellenc nce i in Post st-Har arvest Technologie ies in Kannapolis, NC fosters disciplinary and groundbreaking research. Additional centers of excellence include: Advanced Manufacturing, Cybersecurity, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. ncat.edu 13

A&T - RA RANK NKINGS  For the sixth consecutive year, A&T &T is the n nat ation’s lar argest HB HBCU.  In the “Best Colleges 2020” edition of U.S. News & World Report, A&T continues its status as the no. 1 1 public ic HB HBCU in America for the second consecutive year.  In overall National University rankings, A&T moved into the upper, numerically ranked category for the first time, tie ied at at 281 am among m more than an 300 schools.  In Money magazine’s “Best Colleges” issue, A&T once again was ranked the most affordab able le of t the 2 22 North Car arolina a cam ampuses that made this issue.  Also in Money magazine’s “Best Colleges” issue, A&T graduates scored thir ird in in the sys ystem in al in alumni ear arly car areer ear arnin ings ($51,800), trailing only N.C.
