PROJ OJECT ECT I IDE DEA • the internationalisation of Central Asian and bordering Chinese universities, • modernization of the International Relations Offices of participating institutions; • promote an international network of cross-regional cooperation focused on teaching and researching among universities; • strengthen knowledge sharing on teaching, learning and researching matters; • design an innovative cross-regional (among Central Asian countries/institutions and bordering Chinese regions related to the New Silk Road) and international (Europe- Central Asia) mobility framework for students, academics, researchers and University staff. 11/23/2018 5
OB OBJEC ECTIVES IVES • To improve the capacity for international and cross-regional cooperation for transfer knowledge of Higher Education Institutions in partner countries by modernising their International Relations Offices and exploiting potentials for cooperation in Teaching, Learning and Research. • Transfer of knowledge and cooperation will be reinforced through the creation of an international and cross-regional cooperation network. • To create a cooperation framework aimed at defining the basis for cooperation among participating HEIs for learning, teaching and researching, which will later be tested during a pilot test (mobility of students and professors at regional and interregional level). 11/23/2018 6
