Elaboration of the methodological guide for training and other educational practical 2 resources and tools that contribute to the professional development of trainers/teachers/mentors and enhance the access to training and qualifications for all. Development of competence of “BIOENERGY SPECIALIST FOR AGRI-FOOD SECTOR” (for 3 potential future recognition and validation in European Qualifications Framework or in participant countries). To promote innovative pedagogical methodologies (Project based learning and Work- 4 based learning) as a successful recipe for satisfactory transition to labor market. To promote the cooperation between training centrers and Local Action Groups, associations of rural development, Agricultural Unions, Associations for the valorization of 5 biomass, etc. , aiming to offer training opportunities for local communities as well as to facilitate the development of rural economy.

ENERGY: Traini ning ng Plan o n on Bioene nergy RURA RAL B BIOENER 2017-1-ES01-KA202-038057 The project focuses on the promotion of workers’ training in rural areas in order to meet the objectives, policies and strategies of the EU, especially Europe 2020 Strategy, in relation to: European - Economy and Employement, - R & D & I, context - Environment, - Climate change / Energy and needs - Education - Rural development According to Europe 2020 Strategy and Common Agricultural Policy overall objectives, three long-term strategic objectives can be identified: 1) Improvement of agriculture competitiveness 2) Sustainable management of natural resources and climate action 3) Balanced regional development of rural Besides RURAL BIOENERGY contribute to the objectives of the directives for Renewable Energy and Strategic framework for climate and energy for the period 2020-2030 : 1) Encouraging the diversification of rural employment by contributing to a balanced territorial development 2) Development of skills in relation to biomass 3) Creating a job profile There is an important need of these new vocational qualifications to meet the professional demands are currently emerging and will appear in European rural areas in the future when the development of Bioenergy increase and the transition of circular economy.
ENERGY: Traini ning ng Plan o n on Bioene nergy RURA RAL B BIOENER 2017-1-ES01-KA202-038057 1) CREATION OF A NEW PROFFESIONAL COMPETENCE The Bioenergy qualification doesn’t exist currently, so this project will develop the transversal Innovations competences and curriculum for VET bioenergy specialist, with a methodological guide for training and other educational practical resources for teachers and students An analysis of the existing studies concludes that there is a need to adapt a professional competence in Bioenergy of the following professional families: a) Agriculture b) Food industries, c) Renewable energies 2) INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL APPROACH - Work-based learning (alternating pedagogical methodology based learning approach between enterprises and schools) as a successful recipe for satisfactory transition to labor market. - PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PBL): the methodology and training materials will be designed using the learning model called based PBL on creating a context to motivate the interest of students to learn, according to VET training experts’ opinions. - Practical learning (the students are the real protagonists) and cooperative learning (prioritizing the collaboration in front of the competition and favoring teamwork). 3) USE OF ICT IN TEACHING AND LEARNING as a motivating medium for students and a set of tools that almost offer many educational possibilities.
