● Move all colleges from “Colleges I’m Thinking About” to “Colleges I’m Appyling To”
● Add any colleges where you have applied to “Colleges I’m Applying To” ● Add any colleges you are strongly considering to “Colleges I’m Applying To” ● Students usually apply to 3-6 colleges; however, every student is different.
● Check out the list of schools visiting Wheaton North and sign up via your Naviance Account. ● Complete and turn in the “Falcon Information Sheet” to your counselor. (salmon form) ● Find out if you need teacher letters of rec by visiting the admissions page of your prospective schools. ● Fill out a teacher rec form, if needed. Make sure to ask your teacher first. (Green Form)

Go to the college website’s admissions page and • find “apply now”. This will take you to the college’s application or • to the Common Application. • Complete the application and make note of whether you need any teacher/counselor recommendations, and if so, how many. Bring your transcript request directly to your • counselor after completing the application.

Go to ACT .org or • CollegeBoard.org to send your ACT and/or SAT scores You can check your College • Board or ACT account to verify if they were already sent.
