AP VAC 4 VAC 2 VAC 1 AP VAC 3 THE VAC PROGRAM HAS A FOUR YEAR PROGRESSIVE CURRICULUM: ❑ EACH SESSION SUPPORTS MULTIPLE LESSONS & GRADE LEVELS (VAC LEVELS 1 to 4 = Grade Levels 9 to 12) ❑ THERE ARE TWO MORNING DOUBLE PERIOD SESSIONS [Pds. 1 & 2 (Cross-Scheduled Students) & Pds. 3 & 4] ❑ THERE ARE TWO DOUBLE PERIOD CLASS SESSIONS (Pds. 5 & 6 + 6 & 7) & A TRIPLE PERIOD CLASS OFFERED IN THE AFTERNOON. ❑ STUDENTS MAY COMMUTE TO THE VAC FROM THEIR HOME SCHOOLS FOR THE MORNING OR AFTERNOON SESSIONS. ❑ STUDENTS MAY CHOOSE TO TRANSFER TO EINSTEIN HS (FULL-TIME) ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE VAC. ❑ STUDENTS FROM OUTSIDE OF THE DCC MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE VAC

MCPS VISUAL ART CENTER APPLICATION PROCESS APPLICATION CHECKLIST: Complete Online Application ( Opens October 4 – Closes November 1) Prepare Student Portfolio 2-3 observational drawings and 5-7 completed artworks in any media Attend Onsite 2 hour Drawing Session + portfolio Review Time & Date will be assigned via email to each student! YOU ARE INVITED TO THE DCC OPTIONS OPEN HOUSE THURSDAY OCTOBER 24, 2019 VAC OPEN HOUSE @ AEHS APPLICATION INFORMATION SESSIONS VAC CLASSROOM AT 7:30 PM (AFTER THE GENERAL EINSTEIN HS PRESENTATION IN THE AUDITORIUM)
