Chipotle Fundraiser!! Date: Tuesday, March 27, 2018 ● Location: 19825 Belmont Chase ● Drive STE 130, Ashburn, VA 20147 Time: 4-8pm ● Will be meeting after the ● meeting to hang up flyers around the school
Charity talent show Loudoun In Action is hosting a talent show where all ● proceeds will benefit charity. Humanity First will be selling concessions during this ● time in order to benefit the Nasir Hospital in Guatemala. Please sign up with the QR code if you would like to ● help.
Blood Drive Updates Meeting 3/19- next 3/23 Signed up for committees, still open slots to pick Additional people can join Working on promotions to get word out Registration process being organized Be sure to volunteer and donate!! (NHS)
Blood Drive Intro Nurses from INOVA will be coming on 4/11 to draw people’s blood ● Anyone who is 16 and in good health can donate ● With parent’s permission ○ Our job is to get people to donate and welcome INOVA staff ● We need to spread the word and organize ● Possibility of NHS hours for donating ●
Video Committee Make a little skit about blood drive ● Will possibly be shown during announcements or while people are giving ● blood in the aux gym Committee can decide what video will be about ●
Registration Committee Distribute permission slips ● Register donors on INOVA app only when permission slips are turned in ● Important: students cannot donate without ○ Be sure to get student’s emails! Info will be captured in INOVA app ● Reminders they are donating blood ○ Set up during the mornings and lunches ● Have a poster, maybe made by promotions ○ Play video on mobile Promethean in entry way for morning registrations ○ Sign-Up Genius for Mornings/Lunches ●
Promotions Committee Persuade people to donate ● Spreading word of Blood Drive ● Parents, Teachers, Students ○ How? ● Making posters/Flyers ○ Sending emails ○ Social Media ○ IMPORTANT! ●
Volunteer Committee Volunteering to help during day of Blood Drive ● Help INOVA staff ○ Blood donors ○ Make sign up genius for people to comment study hall blocks ● NHS hours ●
Hospitality Committee Greet Inova staff and donors morning of ● Show them way to bathroom, aux gym, etc. ● Offer coffee/breakfast on day of blood drive ● Be a generous host ●
