AISD Police Academy AISD Police Academy : A capstone course promoting the Arlington Police Department’s Vision, Values and Goals to students working to pursue a career in law enforcement through practical application.
Hometown Recruiting Program The AISD Police Academy was created in 2014. In 2015, AISD teamed with the Arlington Police Department to staff an APD officer to coordinate/instruct at the academy. This joint effort gives students access to the most up to date training and equipment in the industry today.

Partnerships Inside HRP HRP Graduated Members HRP is made up of APD, AISD and UTA. We have 14 worked hard to grow 11 partnerships with each of 9 these stake holders and 7 7 6 continue to pursue students applying to the UTA CJUS department. 2016 2017 UTA TCC Military

Firearms Training Simulator Purchase and Overview 2017 UASI Grant: $94,258 TL-102 Training Lab Capabilities: 4 officer operation possible with full use of force spectrum Safety: Current APD SOP’s will be utilized, additional considerations will be made reference location needs
