  3. Hounslow Pledge 2018 – 2022  5000 affordable homes  The Council will secure at least 3,000 new council and housing association homes for rent.  The Council will secure at least 2,000 new shared ownership housing association homes.  We will maximise the provision of council and housing association owned homes for rent when developing council-owned land.  Secure more council owned homes for rent by investing in the purchase of private sector properties bulk off plan.  There are currently 389 Council homes with planning consent or started on site. A further 142 units currently have funding and will complete by 2022.  The Council will seek additional funding from the GLA in September 2018 to increase the number of units delivered in the Council’s house building programme.

Work with Infrastructure providers such as CCG to update the • Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP) on Infrastructure needed to support housing growth in the borough. • The IDP includes key health and wellbeing measures and infrastructure components which are needed to meet the growth objectives set out in the Local Plan. It contains the background to key issues and illustration of infrastructure type, timing and potential costs of infrastructure needed to support the growth. • Local Plan is currently subject to a review process, and the IDP is ‘living document’. Both provide opportunity for health Determinants of Health and Wellbeing Diagram providers/practitioners to engage in the processes. (Dahlgren and Whitehead, 1992)

  8. Delivery of Health Infrastructure Identifying and delivering health & wellbeing services through the Local Plan supported by the delivery of community health infrastructure. In 2017 several strategic health projects were funded through development (CIL & s106) funding: • Feltham Centre for Health Refurbishment - £50,000 • Heart of Hounslow Centre for Health Refurbishment - £50,000 Thornbury Road Centre for Health Extension - £125,000 • Brentford Centre for Health Extension - £100,00 • We also support the delivery of non-primary health services such as mental health services in the borough.
