  16. Other Works in hand.  Refreshing the parking bays in the McColls car-park  Refreshing the “disabled bay” in the Memorial Hall car-park  30mph roundel at Shelford Bottom  We now have 2 SID ( S peed I ndicator D evices) and have identified (and agreed with Balfour Beatty and CCC) another 6 locations. This gives a total of 12 locations which we will rotate the SID’s around, they normally stay in a location for 4 weeks. The units are “portable” and are battery powered so dependent on traffic flows they may not always indicate on the 4 th week.  No Through Road sign on Spinney Drive  Widening the pavement in Woollards Lane near No 39  Wooden bollard to discourage vehicles mounting the pavement near Church St Barns entrance in Church Street  High Green : Relining the layby opposite the Old Post Office as it’s confusing  High Green : installing bollards from the bus-stop to the Mini garage entrance to prevent parking on the pavement  High Green: installing bus stop indicator boards (expected March 2018) Page 16 of 16

  17. Items on the PC radar  Parking in the village o We will be creating additional parking in the High Street and Maris Green as part of the works in Feb o As the Playscape plans develop we will be re-evaluating the Memorial Hall car-park, we intend to knock down the boiler house which will provide an additional 4/5 spaces. o The dynamics of parking will change if the Co-op moves and the Lloyds Closure takes place o The PC continues to pressurise SCDC to de-criminalise parking so we could have wardens, if progress is too slow we do have the option of “charging” for parking on McColls and the Memorial Hall.  Future TROs (traffic regulation orders) o If we wish to add / remove any parking restrictions or undertake any other highway related issues we generally have to ask the CC to raise a TRO. Because of the advertising and consultation requirements the cost can be high, hence we try to bulk requests together, our list at present is: TROs Future Cherry Trees DYL's at entrance to prevent parking which restricts width for emergency vehicles Poplar Close DYL's at the end of the road to prevent parking and enable vehicles to turn round High Green Removal/rejigging of parking outside the Old Post Office Hinton Way Monitor parking on eastern side, if a problem DYLs  Others o Monitor the general poor repair of the A1301 o Consider safe crossing point in Cambridge Road o Pressurise the CC on potholes in minor roads and footpaths o Consider issues raised in the Neighbourhood Plan o Identify white lines in need of refreshing Page 17 of 17
