Visitors to the meeting I would like to extend a warm welcome to the following visitors: • Andrew Harrison, the new manager at the Four Seasons Hotel • Angie Smith, Priest in Charge of our churches • Ken Crookes, one of our district councillors • David Simpson, our Hampshire county councillor Dogmersfield Parish Council

Vacancy for a Parish Councillor • As mentioned earlier, we now have a vacancy on the Council • This will be filled by a process of interview and co-option • We have already circulated a yellow leaflet advertising the vacancy • If anyone is interested in applying for the position please contact Helen clerk@dogmersfieldparish.co.uk or any of the Councillors and we will let you have an application form • The closing date for applications will be 6:00pm on Friday, 3 rd May • The existing Councillors will then interview any applicants and offer the post to the most suitable person Dogmersfield Parish Council

In summary: • The NHP has been funded to its final stages entirely by grant and earmarked monies, and all grants applied for have been spent • A small increase in the precept for 2019/20 is justified by the need to avoid a large increase later • DPC have sound accounts and the reserves are in line with our agreed policy • An Internal Audit will take place later in the month and will be carried out by a independent accountant Dogmersfield Parish Council

  23. Highways • Traffic speeds – Plans to create a Speed watch team to record traffic speeds and report speeding vehicles to the Police – Volunteers needed • Equipment will be needed. Training available • Parking – We are very conscious of the congestion outside the school at certain times of the day and we are currently arranging a meeting with the relevant Councillors and Highway Officers • Plans to have regular Highway meetings with our County Councillor and the Highway Officers in the future Dogmersfield Parish Council
