RECREATION/QUALITY OF LIFE GRANT AWARDS Bobcat Landing Water Recreation Grant Awards Amount Awarded: $87,760 Awarded by: SCDNR Awarded In 2017 County will use a combination of this grant and "C" Funds for the project. County first had to obtain the land. SCDOT is planning on replacing the entrance to the landing as well as replacing the bridge. Once SCDOT has finalized their plans, the County will be able to firm up its plans for the landing. Trying to coordinate with the State to maximize both the amount of and the appearance of the facility. 4
PARD GRANT AWARD Grant for Veteran’s Memorial Trail $40,000 Awarded by: SC Park and Recreation Development The funds will be used to support the development of the Veteran’s Memorial Trail. The Trail is arranged in seven plazas along an existing greenway and will be the focal point of the park. Each plaza will be dedicated to the branches of the U.S. Military. 5
