DSDP Awards “ Awards for Excellence in District Skill Development Planning ” Presentation by Districts Briefing note for the Selection Committee 22 nd – 23 rd July 2019

Objectives of the DSDP Awards Functional & “ Awards for Excellence in District Skill Development Planning” seek to recognize the excellence Innovative District in creating the most functional and innovative District Skill Development Plan (DSDP) Plan Matching Skill Plan of action for skilling , matching the demand of skilled individuals through targeted supply- Demand with side interventions, with emphasis on inclusion of women and other marginalized groups. Supply Enhanced Access, Celebrate excellence in innovative and best practices that have or will result in enhanced Quality & Capacity access, quality and capacity in skill development resulting in better demand-supply matching, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Exchange of Ideas Provide opportunity for meaningful exchange of ideas and innovative practices' and promote peer learning for developing sound skill development plans.

Process of Selection • Out of 700+ Districts invited to participate, 225 Districts participated in the “Awards for Excellence in District Skill Development Planning’. • The evaluation process of the proposals received from Special, Aspirational & General category of districts includes (i) Duplication Check, (ii) Completion Check, (iii) Quality Review, (iv) Empowered Committee Review and (v) Presentation Review. Proposals Awards & 5 Stage Certificates from Special, Aspirational, Evaluation ( maximum 25; & General Process 10 awards & 15 Districts certificates)
