  3. Graduation Requirements for Grade 12 Most grade 11s will have 24-30 credits by June 2020. In Grade 12 there are 3 compulsory courses leaving room for 7 elective courses. Grade 12 students must have a minimum of 3 credits per semester. Graduation requires Graduation Requirements are: students to have at 30 credits for a Manitoba High School Diploma least two 40S electives. 34 credits for a W.C.   4. English Language Arts Students pursuing a grade 11 or 12 English credit will have the opportunity to select from a variety of courses. Students must choose one English credit for each of their grade 11 and grade 12 years but may take additional credits ELT: Transactional Focus with a maximum of one per category per True Stories ELTTS40S year. Public Speaking ELTPS40S Each ELT (Transactional Focus) course ELC: Comprehensive Focus may only be taken once for credit. Comprehensive Focus ELC40S Literature and Comprehensive Focus courses may be taken in grade 11 and ELA: Literary Focus grade 12. Literature ELL40S Students are expected to take English courses at their grade level.

HSAP Quick Facts  Student finds an apprenticeable trade related job.  Students can earn up to 8 Grade 12 High School credits.  Students earn minimum wage plus 10%.  Students collect work experience hours that count towards their Red Seal trade certification.
