7 th Grade Non-Negotiable • Identify constant of proportionality from verbal forms, equations, graphs, and tables. • Rational number operations. • Write and solve multi-step equations and inequalities. • Identify angle relationships and and apply knowledge to solve problems. • Understanding and applying probability concepts.
Non-Negotiables - 6th grade math • Solve one step equations to solve real world problem • Use proportional reasoning to solve real world problems • Understand what is a statistical question and describe the data. • Be able to solve all operations with fractions • Be able to find area of regular and irregular polygons
Why Spiral? • students are getting exposure to all concepts on a regular basis all year long. • reduces that overwhelming feeling we get each year before testing as we struggle to find time to review. • allows you to monitor who is and isn’t retaining the information you have covered.
