  4. What is a Charter School? • A public school of choice • A school with specific community goals • A school governed by a foundation and community members • A school which operates according to the term of its charter agreement

What is Hapeville Charter Career Academy? • 9-12 charter school servicing students in Fulton County Schools • Career Academy focusing on a Dual Enrollment Partnership with Atlanta Technical College and transitioning to an Early College Model • Dual Enrollment Opportunities with Georgia Military College and other area colleges and universities • Smaller school that exceeds academic challenges • Title I school • Free breakfast and lunch daily catered by Chef Advantage • Applications may be required Community Service is a Requirement.

Next Steps • Complete the online application at www.hapevillecharter.org by February 22, 2019 • One application per student • Applicants will be chosen to attend HCCA via lottery on February 28 • Selected applicants will receive acceptance letters via the online system • Selected applicants must accept offers by March 29, 2019 • Waitlist • Current Employees and siblings of Hapeville Charter School students will receive automatic enrollment.
